Mangata (desert quandong), a traditional Anangu bush food (delicious raw and cooked). The seeds are also used in crafts such as braclets. Please report sightings of Quandong to protect them. Several have been cut down by unknowing road workers. But there locations are also sensitive as they are highly valued and can be exploited. Vulnerable in Northern Territory.
