@donhe @ibaird @WendyEM I'm reviewing some observations that are sitting at 'insect' level on here. iNat AI seems to suggest that this could be in Hawk, Sphinx, Silk, Emperor, and Allied Moths (Superfamily Bombycoidea).

it is a pupating moth. hard to tell what though. Size would help. The AI has picked some big ones, it could be from other groups.

No haustellum compartment : not Sphinginae. Too tubby for Macroglossinae.
